Simulating Massive Zombie Hoards

He said that there is a still a lot of development to be done, so make sure to check him out on LinkedIn if you're intereseted!
Working with Custom Primitive Data in UE5
In a recent blog post, technical artist Hauke Thießen wrote about some of the downsides to using dynamic material instances and the alternative approach of using Custom Primtive Data.
Using CPD does come with its own set of considerations, but can allow for a large reductions draw calls and added UObjects when compared to DMIs.
If you're at all interested in shaders and optimizations, this blog post is a must read!
