Character Pipelines at Embark Studios
Embark Studios' Erik Östsjö and Björn Arvidsson recently revealed how they built an automated character pipeline for The Finals and Arc Raiders using Houdini.
USD was adopted as the single source of truth with live-linking across DCC tools. The result is a system artists can operate confidently with minimal Houdini expertise.
The setup handles all the heavy lifting behind the scenes, allowing tech and art teams to work together smoothly without needing to be software experts.
